2023 beneficiaries
This year our recipient for the 18th annual “Ride 2 Provide” is Connie Goeglein Conner. Connie was born on January 21st, 1959 to Emma Jean and Bill Goeglein. She grew up in Markle, IN with her brothers Nile and Alan. Her dad passed in 1974, and after a time, her mom remarried to Jay Fox in 1976, gaining her two sisters, Janet and Joyce.
On February 4th, 2023 Connie was diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer. The first of six chemo treatments started on February 21st, 2023. An 8-10 hour surgery is scheduled at the end of April or early May after completion of three rounds of chemo. After surgery the expectation is for a period of 7-10 days in recovery, followed by rehab and a resumption of chemo. Please keep Connie in your thoughts and prayers. She would like to thank each and every one of you, as you hold a special place in her heart.
Who We Are
The Ride 2 Provide is a group of volunteers who bring the community together for a common purpose.
For 16 years the Ride 2 Provide has been organizing fundraisers and events in the community. The organization is founded on the principles of paying it forward and caring for those who need it.
Families that have been devastated by tragedy, debilitating health issues, and natural disasters shouldn’t have to shoulder the financial burden. The Ride 2 Provide was built for these people as a way to to remove some of the responsibility and worry so they may focus on the trials at hand. Many members of the Ride 2 Provide are former beneficiaries themselves and this cause is a way to keep paying it forward.
What We Do
01.
— We Organize
Year-round benefits occur as needed with a main event happening during the summer.
02.
— We Volunteer
All Ride 2 Provide members are volunteers who love their community. All proceeds go to beneficiaries.
03.
— We Care
Many Ride 2 Provide members were former beneficiaries themselves. No one knows more about how important the Ride is than some of the individuals who volunteer.
04.
— We Help
We don’t limit ourselves to only financial donations, we help any way we can.
05.
— We Provide
All proceeds go to different random beneficiaries, sometimes more than one.
06.
— We Relieve
The Ride 2 Provide provides financial relief when people most need it.
